Rose Medallion Water Jar; 15“, c. 1860
The jar is one of the 55 pieces in the Society’s collection of China Trade Rose Medallion. The collection was a gift of Josephine Atkins Kent, whose adoptive father, Captain Joseph Kent was active in the China Trade during the second half of the 19th century.
