The journal contains a list of over 3,000 paintings purchased from Wendell Rogers from 1935 to 1955. Included for each painting is the date, size of painting, subject of the painting as well the name of the purchaser.

Wendell Rogers (1890-1973) was a painter, art teacher and camera enthusiast. The best known of his pictures in the Society’s collection is his Main Street in Winter. A print of this picture can be purchased from the Museum Store.
