This is a major fund-raising event of the Chatham Historical Society.
Because of generous support for it from many members of the Society,
the costs of dealers' booths and general admission will be held to
the very attractive levels of the past four years. Thirty-five exhibitors
from Cape Cod and most New England states should be represented, with
a rich and wide range of antique items; and about 1,000 people are
expected to buy tickets.
For two weeks before the event, there will be advance sales of tickets
at a discounted price at two local Chatham antiques establishments,
Maps of Antiquity and Chatham Village Antiques.
Besides the antiques show and sale, an Antiques Preview will be offered
to invited guests on Friday evening, several raffles will be mounted
during the two days, a silent auction with very attractive items from
members of the Society and exhibitors will be held, a book signing
will take place on Sunday, and food will be available to patrons of
the show and sale outside the School on Saturday. What all this adds
up to is something other than just "another antiques show."
Note: Booth rental rates are very economical. Dealers can
park 20 feet from their booths! Porters will also be available at
no cost.
Applications to participate
from dealers/exhibitors are still welcomed.
